RELATIONSHIPS… At MBC it’s all about relationships!
We believe that the Triune God of grace has always known community in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We are called into that amazing, joyful fellowship through faith in Jesus Christ. So whatever we are doing, we love being together and newcomers are always welcome. Whether we are enjoying “small groups”, playing sports or grabbing a Tim Horton’s coffee after Sunday worship, our goal is “Loving God. Loving People." We will always give you a chance to connect.
WORD & SPIRIT… Our passion is to be a Church of both Word and Spirit.
THE WORD… We love the Bible! It opens up God to us, who He is, what He is like and how He loves us. It challenges us and can change the way we look at life. God speaks to us through His Word, the Bible. So our goal is to hear the Word and then radically obey it! We encourage everyone to make the transformational knowledge of the Scriptures an important part of everyday life.
SPIRIT... We welcome God in the person of the Holy Spirit.
God’s people, the church, is where God lives by his Holy Spirit. Therefore, the work of the Holy Spirit is vital in us. Not only does He give us new birth as we become Christians, but Jesus wants to fill us with the Holy Spirit. Out of the filling comes gifts that encourage the church and empower a victorious Christian life. The power of the Holy Spirit comes to us through the presence of God.
MISSION… our Theme for 2009 is “Church on a Mission”.
We are seeking God to restore in our church a passion for His fame in Milton, in Canada and in the nations. We believe in intentional missional living.
