NYC Postlude 

Forty five people equally divided into adults, teens & children all brought back significant memories from New York City.  Everyone is back safe & sound now. 

Since returning from NYC, I have spoken to many in the group.  I asked them what was the one stand out theme of their trip.  If God said one thing to them, what would it be?  Interestingly, most of them said "love".  God pressing His love into us, the Team experiencing love and grace from each other, and a genuine heart of love for the people we met for the first time.  Pretty cool.  Well worth the missionary journey! 

God worked both in us and through us.  It is hard to say which was more significant, the way God changed us from the inside-out or the way He used us to change others.  In New York and in New Jersey, literally a few thousand people were touched in some way by the Team from MBC.  The positive cross cultural experiences were probably the biggest contributors to stretch and grow us.  But grow we did.  Closer together and closer to God.

On Sunday morning, July 12th, the team will bring a full report.  Be there and be blessed. I can't wait!
