The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly 2 or 5 km fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.

Each year in February, tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of welcome and compassion in their communities. Since 2011, the Coldest Night of the Year has raised over $75,000,000 across Canada in 190 Canadian communities – 100% of net proceeds stay local to support our CNOY charity partners.

The walk will be on Saturday, February 22, from 4:30pm–7:00 PM, this family-friendly event features 2km and 5km route options, plus a light meal to warm you up afterward. Let’s come together as a community to make a difference. Team up, fundraise, and walk with us!

Join us as we walk in support of RE:SOUL Youth Centre, Milton’s longest-running youth drop-in centre, providing a safe and hopeful space for teens—free of charge. Choose a 2km or 5km route, starting at 5 PM from RE:SOUL, and enjoy a light meal afterward. Let’s make a difference together—because it’s cold out there!
