[ WORSHIP]

What is Worship?

Worship is an expression of thankfulness in understanding God's nature, love, and power. No matter the ebbs and flows of life, we are called as Christians to worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in praise and adoration for His goodness.

1. "I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of his glories and grace. 2. I will boast of all his kindness to me. Let all who are discouraged take heart. 3. Let us praise the Lord together and exalt his name."

Psalm 34: 1 -3

Our Philosophy

If one phrase describes worship at Milton Bible Church, it would be, we are a “Presence Centered Worship”.  We are a “presence centered people”.  More than anything else we long for more of the presence of God.  We realize that God is omni-present.  He is everywhere in every place.  That is true.  But there is also the manifest presence of God – where He manifests His power in the healing and saving of His creation.

Our Vision

"We strive to bring excellence with all the gifts God has given us because He deserves all the praise and glory."

At MBC Worship, we want to lead and express the beauty and wonder of God every day in celebration of Him. We strive to bring excellence with all the gifts God has given us because He deserves all the praise and glory. We don't want to be a ministry that worships God only on Sundays but every day. We know that worship is not just the songs we sing but a lifestyle; we hope all our praise team members live by that same mentality.

Join Our TEAM!

Have you been looking for an opportunity to serve the church, give back to God, and have a musical gift? Then the worship team would be the perfect fit for you. If you want to join the team, attend one of our Jam sessions to get started. More info is below!

WORSHIP JAM SESSION

What is a worship jam session?

It's an excellent way for us to get to know you, see your technical ability, and how well you can work with a team. Don't see it as an audition but a way for us to meet you and know where you are. The important thing for us is your heart alongside your abilities. Please understand, however, that you will be judged for your skill. If we don't think it is a good fit right now, it's not a "no" but an opportunity to improve your craft and try at another jam session.

In the Jam session:

You will have the opportunity to play one or two rehearsed songs with a team to show your skill, your ear, your dedication to practice (your preparation), and how well you work with a group.

Next, you will be given a song on the fly and see how well you can improvise and "Jam" with the band. Don't worry. The music picked should be familiar to you.

Our next Jam Session Date: TBD
